This rectangular base brush from Swix has natural wild boar bristles. This base brush is used for brushing in pure fluorocarbon waxes. It is not advisable to use this brush with fluoro and non-fluorinated ski waxes. These bristles are slightly thicker than those on the horsehair brush, and have a greater ability to "brush up" the fluorinated compounds in Cera waxes for a fast, smooth glide.
