The FK SKS Pro Sidewall Stripper is considered by many as the best available tool for removing the second edge and sidewalls on both capped skis and those with full sidewalls. While the Pro Sidewall Stripper outperforms many of its competitors in price, this is one of those tools that you buy once and it outlasts everything else in your collection.

The sidewall stripper has a sturdy aluminum guide and comes with two differently shaped tungsten carbide blades; round and square. The FK SKS Pro provides precise adjustment of cutting depth on all-axis skis.

Part Number: 3148

Skiing is dangerous. Ski at your own risk.

Sidewall shapeshifter

This tool appears to be a good design and includes the small radius rounded square bit that allows the sidewall above the edge to be reshaped into a perfect curve. However when I tried to assemble the bit holder into the frame the hole did not line up with the slot making it impossible to move the holder in and out as well as blocking insertion of the bolt. I filed the inside of the bit holder to fix the problem but am disappointed that the quality control is poor. The older plastic fk sidewall tool has the advantage of a screw adjustment for bit protrusion.
