Utah Ski Gear Condition Rating System
New | Like New | Very Good | Good | Fair | Poor
Top-sheet: Good. Minor cosmetic top sheet dings and scratches
Base: Good. A few light and small scratches. One of the ski’s bases was dimpled by the screws. Kids ski with adult screws.
Edges: Good. No damage or rusting, some small burs
Binding: Good. G3 ZED 9. DIN: 3-9. Set up for a BSL of 256 and would work for about 30mm more, so to about a BSL of 286. For young kids, the DIN may be too high and it may be difficult to change from ski to walk mode.
Skins: Fair. The skins are fairly new but sadly the glue, especially on one of them is gone. Would need glue renew and tail clips. For mellow terrain, they would probably work fine without tail clips. These skins also come with skin savers.
Note: These skis have received a tune from Utah SKI Gear which includes:
- Bindings, Topsheet, Base and Edges inspected
- Base Grind and Wax
- Edges Sharpened
- De-tune of the tip and tail
Disclaimer of Warranties:
For previously owned and used skis and bindings:
- Equipment is sold “as is”
- The buyer assumes all risk as to the quality and performance of the equipment
Special Safety Notice for Bindings: We urge you to take your boots and bindings to a shop certified by the bindings’ manufacturer to have a function check. The majority of shops will charge for this service. Even though we may, by request, check to see if a binding should fit your boot sole length, such an adjustment and fit check does not verify that the bindings will release properly with your boot. Only a certified shop can do this, with the user's boots present.
