When Glen Plake calls it, "the one ski I can grab and go anywhere in the world and have fun," we listen. Noted for its power and versatility combined with ease of use makes the 2019/20 Elan Ripstick 116 one of the best skis on the market today.
Elan combines their dual Amphibio Profile, placing additional camber on the inside edge with additional rocker on the outside edge, resulting in precise power on the downhill edge and smoother transitions from edge to edge. The Tubelite Woodcore places full length Carbon tubes into the wood core providing a responsive yet forgiving flex without the additional weight of metal laminates. The additional VaporTip Inserts reduce swing weight and vibrations, improving stability while SST Sidewall construction transmit energy directly over the ski edges for superior control. The fattest ski in the series, the Ripstick 116, is an absolute powder hound. The Ripstick is also a great choice for a touring ski due to it's light weight.
