The K2 Gyrator was first made in a water ski factory using cap construction. The origional boards, like the one in the photos, pretty much have no side-cut making them super hard to turn, but boy do they go fast. The Gyrator model was a hit, making K2 the most influential ski brand to break into the snowboarding market.
Considering this board is 34 years old, it’s in pretty good shape, although the edges are super rusted and the base could use some work. We don’t recommend riding this board but it would be a great collector’s item or look fantastic as wall art with the neon era graphics.
