The 2018 Marker Baron EPF is a versatile freeride touring frame binding for spirited riding on and off the piste, on and off the resort.

If you’re looking to put together a ‘do everything all-mountain’ setup for in-bounds riding and out-of-bound tours, the Marker Baron EPF could be the perfect thing to go between your boots and skis!

Featuring fairly burly alpine heel and toe pieces with a DIN range of 4-13, the Marker Baron is comfortable doing anything that your regular alpine binding does on the resort. Whether you like to drive energy through your boots and bindings to create strong turns or zipper your skis through the bumps or even jump off of every feature in sight, the Barons are ready for the job. The Baron isn't the lightest touring binding out there but it's definitely one that you can ski hard and trust.

For tour mode, the Baron offers an ergonomically shaped lever to transform the bindings as well as a titanium climbing aid with two positions (7°, 13°.) Designed for today's wider skis, the Bindings Extended Power Frame widens the platform that the binding sits on which improves power transmissions and overall performance. The Extended Power Frame requires skis to be at least 88mm underfoot.

Mounting hardware and mounting plate included.

Disclaimer of Warranties: For previously owned and used skis and bindings:

  • Equipment is sold “as is”
  • The buyer assumes all risk as to the quality and performance of the equipment

Special Safety Notice for Bindings: We urge you to take your boots and bindings to a shop certified by the bindings’ manufacturer to have a function check. The majority of shops will charge for this service. Even though we may, by request, check to see if a binding should fit your boot sole length, such an adjustment and fit check does not verify that the bindings will release properly with your boot. Only a certified shop can do this, with the user's boots present. Skiing is dangerous. Ski at your own risk.
