Race Stability Meets All Mountain Versatility

The Laser AR is a high performance All Mountain Racing Ski from Stockli. All Mountain Racing Ski? That’s right. The Laser AR exists as a cross between Stocklis' wider, more freeride oriented, Stormrider series and the infamously awesome, carving oriented Lasers. With a race style layup, subtle tip and tail rocker and 83mm of waist, The AR is the widest and most versatile of the Laser crew.

The Laser AR is a Ski of Two Stories. On one hand, the AR is stiff enough to handle aggressive charging through chopped up terrain or reaching mach 1 on your favorite groomer, and on the other, it's soft enough to be skied in a more tender, playful way and for the entire turn radius to be accessible to a wide range of riders.

Much of the technology found throughout the Laser AR is all about adding a certain variable nature to the personality of the ski. The lightweight wood core enables the AR to have a nimble and agile body while it’s powerful titanal laminates supplement with strength. Turtle Shell Cutouts in the Tips and Tails soften up the torsional rigidity of those sections and allow for the ski to be more easily initiated into a carve and pulled out of one. Yet underfoot, the Laser AR remains stiff and responsive, locking into turns and accelerating out with heart dropping power.

All of this results in a ski that is not only incredibly high performing across a wide range of terrain but also one that is surprisingly accessible to a wide range of riders.

Turn Radius: 12.3m at 154cm length

Special Safety Notice for Bindings: We urge you to take your boots and bindings to a shop certified by the bindings’ manufacturer to have a function check. The majority of shops will charge for this service. Even though we may, by request, check to see if a binding should fit your boot sole length, such an adjustment and fit check does not verify that the bindings will release properly with your boot. Only a certified shop can do this, with the user's boots present.
