Retail Store Manager: (Sandy Location. 1 Full Time Year-Round)
Duties Include:
Manage/supervise daily retail operations
Organization and cleaning or retail space
Opening and closing procedures
Conduct staff training to ensure excellent customer service
Proper scheduling of team to help manage customer needs
Ensure the safety of our team and customers
Resolve any customer complaints
Conduct regular check in meetings with team, individually and as a group
Resolve work issues and/or concerns
Ensure staff stay productive, positive, and on task

Rental / Demo Manager: (Sandy Location. 1 Full Time. Year Round or Seasonal.)
Duties Include:
To maintain an efficient and profitable rental and demo program.
Ongoing organization of all rental equipment
Collaborate with tuning team to ensure all rental and demo gear stays tuned and ready for service
Training of team on rental software and protocols
Lead on rental oriented customer support issues
Work with owners and team to brainstorm, plan and execute rental program improvements and fixes.

Skills and Qualifications:

Performance Center Coordinator: (Midvale Location. 1 Full or Part Time. Year Round or Seasonal.)
Duties Include:
Retail sales in the performance center including answering technical tuning and waxing questions.
Creating and maintaining relationships with race and other competitive teams locally and across the US
Maintaining a clean and well-stocked Performance Center space
Assists with customer support via email and over the phone with technical tuning questions and conversations with customers.
Planning and organizing informational clinics in the performance center about ski tuning for local customers and race teams
Coordinate with retail and online teams to maintain a well-stocked tuning selection
Ability to cater to a varied clientele
Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
Background in ski tuning or racing is not required but is preferred.
Retail sales experience is preferred.
Experience with online sales and support preferred.
Content creation, or social media marketing around the ski industry would be a big plus.
Prefer full-time year-round, but would consider part time or seasonal as well. Must work Saturdays and Holidays during the season. Very flexible summertime hours.

Amazon Assistant Manager: (Midvale Location. 1 Full Time)
Duties Include:
Prepare shipments and coordinate inventory tasks to maximize sales and growth for Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA) online channel.
Facilitate accurate product listings
Create new FBA and MF listings
Monitor and resolve listing errors
Assist with accurate price and cost data
Support and assist in receiving (including separation of) new stock received between channels
Optimize timing and levels of products sent to FBA warehouses including monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to provide maximum availability of FBA space, especially in early season
Accurately prepare FBA shipments as to counts, SKUs and shipments following Amazon’s requirements and protect inventory by carefully packaging and preparing boxes
Supervising any additional help with shipment preparation which includes prepping shipments for SKU stickers/labeling and overseeing the other employees to ensure accurate shipments are created
Provide accurate inventory counts by decrementing any stock pulled and verifying existing data
Support Inventory manager as needed to receive and physically handle and put away stock to keep inventory organized
Forecast and facilitate additional purchases based upon inventory needs and turns including monitoring FBA vs. available inventory to identify needs (shortages/overages)
Prepare additional orders to timely obtain additional stock

This is a full-time year-round assistant manager position.

Technical Content Creator: (Midvale Location. 1 Full or Part Time, Year-Round or Seasonal)
Duties Include:
Creating unique and informative content pieces in relation to ski tuning and maintenance, heated accessories, family-friendly ski tips, and skis/boards/boots we carry.
Manage channels of Instagram, blog posts, newsletters, and YouTube videos.
Creating informational graphics for easy sharing across platforms and with customers.
Regularly generating this content on a schedule, in accordance with local events and holidays
Engaging with customers on these platforms to provide positive customer support
Optimizing content for SEO
Assisting with day-to-day needs of shipping and support as needed

Skills and Qualifications we are looking for in this position:
Self-starter, willing to jump into tasks head first. For example, doing the research required to put together an in-depth and accurate piece of technical content about a topic that may be foreign at first.
Experience with video, graphical and written content.
Experience with multiple social and video platforms.
Prefer Full Time Year Round but would also consider Part-time or seasonal. Must work some Saturdays & be available on Holidays. Very flexible summertime hours. Some remote work options, but majority of time would be at our Midvale location.

SKI Tuner and Assistant SKI Tuner:
(Midvale and Sandy Locations. 1 Full Time Year-Round, 1 Full Time Seasonal, and 1 Part Time Seasonal)
Overall Objective: Tune skis for customers and our rental fleet. Experience helpful but we will provide training for the right person.
Major Duties:
- Tune all skis to Utah Ski Gear’s standards
- Train and educate employees and customers in our tuning
services. - Perform/schedule machine maintenance
- Track inventory of supplies
- Assist with sales as necessary

At Utah SKI Gear, we work as a team, so flexibility is a must. But most folks will focus in one department:
Online: Our online staff help sell and fulfill orders online via our website as well as multiple online selling channels. If you have online or analytical skills, this is for you.
In Shop: Our retail shop staff work directly with customers throughout the ski season, recommending ski and board gear, fit boots, and other fun stuff.
Tuning: Our tuning staff help ensure our customers have a safe and fun experience on the hill. If you are comfortable with tools and mechanics, can work quickly and efficiently, and want to help people enjoy their time on the hill, this position is for you.
