No. All boot installation systems for the 23/24 season are completely new and not cross compatible with Hotronic's older systems.
That means element cords, attachments, and rechargers are all not compatible between the 23/24 models and previous years.
Luckily, we still have parts for the S-series available on our website while supplies last.
ALL socks are compatible with ALL XLP "P" and "ONE" batteries but the chargers are different between the newer XLP-P series and the older XLP-ONE series.
Please see the "Sock Info" section of this guide to learn more.

Any Hotronic order containing XLP batteries must ship via UPS Ground because XLP is a Lithium-Ion battery which has restrictions by shipping carriers.
Lithium batteries are regulated as a hazardous material under the U.S. Department of Transportation's (DOT) Hazardous Materials Regulations (HMR; 49 C.F.R., Parts 171-180). The HMR apply to any material DOT determines can pose an unreasonable risk to health, safety, and property when transported in commerce. Lithium batteries must conform to all applicable HMR requirements.
Any Hotronic order containing lithium-ion batteries cannot be shipped overseas.
Hotronic orders NOT containing XLP batteries may ship via other methods prompted at checkout.
Please see our shipping policy for a full breakdown on all things shipping related.

Sometimes you may have a hard time distinguishing which battery series your Hotronic batteries are. Knowing which series your batteries are is important for determining which charger you can use. If you do not know which Hotronic battery series you have, the following descriptions may help.
Power Plus S Series/E Series
All batteries manufactured after 2006 are compatible with the same white charger. The E and S series have white ‘On’ and ‘Off’ buttons on the top. The model will be printed on the front of the battery, as with all of the models.

No! You should not be able to feel the heater under your feet if it is properly installed. The Heat Ready Insole has a designated slot for the heating element so the insole can remain completely flat. Even if you are using your Hotronics with custom insoles, you should not be able to feel the heating pad. It is extremely thin and should only create a slight bump- about 1mm high. The wires for the heating element go under the insole so they should not noticeable.
We recommend placing your Hotronic battery on the outside of your boot, behind the buckles so that it does not get in the way. Using a slide strap bracket and placing your snow pants over the Hotronic battery will protect it and reduce the chance of it becoming an obstacle.
On the lowest setting, these batteries are designed to last for 24 hours for the XLP 2C BT and 12 hours for the XLP 1C BT.

Since this is a new battery by Hotronic, we don't have trouble shooting tips for these batteries quite yet. Don't worry! As the season progresses, we will add this information here! In the meantime, we'd love your feedback on tips and tricks that have helped you so we can help others too!
