  • Domestic orders over $50 ship for free!
  • Complimentary shipping is via USPS Ground Advantage. *UPS Ground will be used for larger or heavier items that qualify for free shipping such as new 24/25 skis and snowboards.
  • All heated accessories containing Lithium-Ion batteries must ship via a ground service. (Includes Hotronic XLP batteries, most Therm-ic batteries, etc).
  • New 24/25 season skis and boards ship free. All used, past season, and deeply discounted skis and boards will have paid shipping.

Exclusions:

  • Used and Open Box Return items are not eligible for free shipping.
  • Footwear, including ski and snowboard boots and booties, is not eligible for free shipping. We encourage you to visit your local ski shop for a boot fitting to ensure you are in a proper fitting ski or snowboard boot.
  • All used, past season, and deeply discounted skis, boards or apparel will have paid shipping.
  • Products shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, and international orders are not eligible for free shipping.
  • Items that must be sent by ground or freight because they are oversized, hazardous, or flammable as identified on the product page.

General Shipping Information:

Shipping costs will be calculated at check-out based on the item’s weight and your location. We do our best to accurately charge shipping, our goal is never to profit off of shipping fees.

All orders placed by 3pm Mountain time Monday - Friday ship same day. Orders with expedited shipping must be placed by 12pm Mountain time to ensure an on time delivery.

Orders placed over the weekend will ship the following Monday and orders placed on federal Holidays will ship the following business day. We continue with regular shipping on Saturdays during peak season (September-April 15th). During the off-peak season, we ship Monday-Friday. We do not ship on Sunday's.

Signature Requirements:

Orders exceeding $250 will require a signature upon delivery. If you would like to require a signature then please make a note of it in your order at check-out. If you would like to waive the signature requirement please contact us with your written permission to do so via email to support@utahskigear.com.

International Shipping:

We can ship anywhere in the world, with some exceptions.

  • Any product containing lithium-ion batteries cannot be shipped internationally.
  • Some items including new skis, snowboards, bindings, apparel, accessories, and boots cannot be shipped internationally.
  • International shipping fees on used skis, snowboards, or boots will be the responsibility of the customer.

Please be advised:  By default, any applicable taxes and duties are billed to the recipient of an international shipment. Once customs officials determine the taxes and duties due, the recipient will be contacted to pay any charges so that the shipment can continue to move toward its destination.

Utah Ski Gear in no way accepts responsibility FOR taxes associated with ANY order. It is the customer’s full responsibility to pay any return shipping fees on international orders.

Your confirmation email will contain a tracking number for your package. Please contact us if you did not receive a confirmation email or tracking number.

If you opt for the ‘free shipping’ option at check-out your order will ship via USPS Ground Advantage. You can choose an alternative shipping method at check-out to match your needs. Items that do not qualify for free shipping will be shipped with your selected shipping method.

At this time we do not offer gift wrapping on our items.

All orders over $250, or skis/boards over $500, will require a signature upon delivery to ensure your high value item is received. If you would like to add a signature requirement to your order or waive this requirement, pleas contact us at support@utahskigear.com.

Orders that are marked as delivered by the mail carrier are not eligible for a refund or replacement if the customer claims they never arrived.

Returns Policy

For online orders placed at utahskigear.com:

We have a 45-day return policy, which means you have 45 days after ordering your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. 

To start a return or exchange, please fill out our Return Request Form. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

If you are returning or exchanging the item because it is defective then please submit a Warranty Request form.

Items returned in damaged or missing packaging will be charged a restocking fee upon receipt. Please note, the price of return shipping may be deducted from your refund.

All items can be returned for full price with the exception of brand new skis that have been used or drilled for bindings and open box returns. These will be subject to a tuning fee, which starts at $30. As well as items that have been used, worn, or have damaged packaging. These will be subject to a restocking fee. Open Box Returns are final sale.

Utah Ski Gear is not responsible for return shipping on ski boots that do not fit. We highly recommend visiting your local shop for a ski boot fitting to ensure a proper fit. We are happy to help our Utah customers at our retail store located in Sandy, Utah. Return shipping on ski boots will be paid for by the customer. Ski and snowboard boots must be returned in their original box with no tape or shipping labels directly on the boot box. The boots must show no signs of wear and should be free of all lint, hair or other foreign substances.

Please include the original packing slip in your return shipment or another form of documentation that includes the order number. Additionally, please include the details of your return and if you are looking to refund or exchange your order. We are a small team, so this information speeds up the rate at which you will receive your refund.

We will refund your money or send out a replacement item once we receive the item.

For in store purchases:

Items purchased in person at Utah Ski Gear (Sandy) can be returned or exchanged within 30 days of purchasing them.

Items purchased pre-season (August-November) can be returned by December 31st

All items can be returned for full price with the exception of skis that have been used or drilled for bindings and new boots that have been altered. For skis this fee starts at $40 and for boots the fee starts at 20% of the price of the boots. New skis from brands we carry are available for demo if you are unsure about purchasing them.

To return an item in-store please bring a receipt. Text, email, and printed receipts are all acceptable. Proof of purchase is required to make a return or exchange. Refunds will be given in the same way they were paid, back to a card or in cash. No cash refund for a card purchase. Refunds can also be issued as a gift card.

Items purchased on eBay can be returned for money back within a 60 day period. Returns for eBay MUST be processed through eBay.

We also offer free shipping for  domestic returns through eBay.

Please send us a message through eBay or inquire through our ‘Contact Us form if you would like to go through with a return or exchange for an item purchased on eBay.

We adhere to Amazon’s return policy of 30 days.

We offer free return shipping if the item you purchased is being returned or exchanged because it is defective. You can return an item purchased through Amazon two ways- either by shipping it back to our store or by going through Amazon. Going through Amazon is frequently the quickest way, but either way will work.

You can either message us on Amazon or through our ‘Contact Us’ form. We will send you a pre-paid shipping label for you to ship the item back to us. Once we receive the item we will be able to refund the money for your order or send out a replacement item if you wish for an exchange.

Items purchased through Wal-Mart can be returnedwithin 30 days of purchase. Login to Walmart.com Go to ‘My Account’. Click the item you wish to return under Recent Orders. Click See Details and then Contact this Seller. Choose Initiate a Return and include information about your product return.
