The all-new Montero AX replaces the Laser AX for the 23/24 season. This ski promises versatility on groomers, slush, and chop. This playful do-it-all ski uses wave-shaped slits in the Titanal, plus rocker at the tip and tail for easier handling and nimble, short to mid-radius turns.

Featuring a slightly wider waist width at 80mm, the Montero AX is more all-mountain oriented while maintaining its 5-star qualities on-piste. This ski is best for someone who spends the majority of their time ripping beautiful turns on the groomers, but still wants to push the skis onto more variable terrain for exploration. The addition of flex torsion control ensures a smooth ride with seamless transitions. Since torsion rigidity is adjusted base on the vibration, you get the precise flexibility you want in every snow condition.

Special Safety Notice for Bindings: We urge you to take your boots and bindings to a shop certified by the bindings’ manufacturer to have a function check. The majority of shops will charge for this service. Even though we may, by request, check to see if a binding should fit your boot sole length, such an adjustment and fit check does not verify that the bindings will release properly with your boot. Only a certified shop can do this, with the user's boots present.

The best

I have been recommended by multiple people to try Stockli skis, and after skiing these I can see why. They are just wide enough for all mountain skiing and jumps, and just skinny enough for carving up groomers. They hold an edge like no other, feel unbelievably stable, and are very easy to manipulate to multiple size turns. The only things I wouldn't do on these skis are ski deep powder and slide on rails. Other than those, this ski does it all. It is definitely worth its price tag. It would be hard to ever go back to other skis when not skiing powder.
