Replacing the well-known Candide series, the Faction Mana 3X is a daily driver for those who ski big mountain terrain and soft snow frequently and want the freestyle flair of a park ski.
The new Mana series maintains the delightful freeride performance we know and love from the Candide series in a stiffer ski that likes to charge. Don’t let the stiffness fool you though. With deep rocker lines in the tip and tail and a low camber profile, these skis still excel in playfulness and will pivot easily slashing through bumps, bowls, and trees.
"X" models are technically for women, but the only difference is their size range and top sheet options. Construction remains the same. The Mana’s are incredibly responsive and allow for quick turns when needed. The Mana series distinguishes itself with a unique carbon/rubber stomp pad, ensuring stable landings and providing reliable edge hold and stability, especially at high speeds.
This shape is inspired by symmetrical freestyle ski design but tweaked for a freeride approach. A slightly skinnier tail width than tip width means this ski is faster and performs better on the downhill than a completely symmetrical ski. It keeps the identical twin tip height for switch skiing and landings. Moderately tapered tips and tails are complemented by an elliptical radius sidecut for efficient, precise handling and carving
