The EVO5+ capitalizes on Arva’s 35-year expertise to fit in the palm of your hand.
Arva’s R&D team pushed the size/performance ratio past the edge of the envelope to create a device that fits perfectly in your jacket pocket. With a 50m search stripwidth, group check, marking function, and an automatic revert-to-transmit mode, the EVO5+ is jam-packed with all of the essential functions needed to rescue an avalanche victim.
Equipped with a backlit screen and speaker that emits a precise, modulated beep, this transceiver will efficiently and effectively guide you to the burial zone.
The Evo5+ has new software and a locking slider in the "off" position to keep the beacon from accidentally being turned on when not in use.
- Three antennas keep you headed in the right direction, no matter the beacon orientation or model.
- A Group Check feature streamlines trailhead checks
- Auto-revert (AR) keeps rescuers safe in the event of secondary burial and can be customized in settings to fit your preferences.
- A single AA battery (23g) saves weight
- Manages signal interference (don't ask how, all we know is that it works really well).
- Mark (multi-burial) function
- A backlit screen keeps you in the know when dawn patrol laps start extra early

*Avalanche gear is essential for backcountry skiing. However, the gear is useless if you don’t know how to use it. Always practice regularly with your equipment and your backcountry partners. Take an AIARE course before heading into backcountry terrain. Know before you go!
