Featuring a precision-machined flat aluminum backing plate, the Sidecut Diamond Stones are incredibly accurate and durable. When you have worn through the stone, you can easily remove the adhesive and apply a fresh diamond stone.
For the best results, Sidecut recommends using the Sidecut polishing oil to improve tuning time and the longevity of the stone.
How to choose the correct stone:
- 200 grit/Coarse: Best used for burr removal and sharpening and coarse enough to sharpen your edges without using a metal file first. Sidecut recommends carrying one in your pocket for a quick hand sharpening or to remove rock damage while on the mountain
- 400 grit/Medium: Best used for sharpening and polishing and is the most commonly used diamond
- 600 grit/Fine: Best used for polishing and finishing
- 1000 grit/Extra Fine: Best used when you desire an extra high polish finish. Ideal for competitive skiers to shave off hundredths of a second and enhance performance on hard-packed snow
Dimensions: approx 110mm x 25mm
