Didn't work.

I had high hopes for this contraption and it left me high and dry.
After applying two whole sticks of the P-Tex repair material, I went to scrape it down and without exception it all came right off. There was no bonding whatsoever. I then used a torch and dripped the same P-Tex material via open flame and the material bonded perfectly.

I'm guessing I need to do something different.
